These terms cover the Blind Table waitlist and the downtown Singapore preview. The full blind-date night and
table matching are still in beta and are not open yet. By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using
the preview, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Notice.
1. The service
Blind Table is a Singapore-focused social and dating prototype. The public beta currently includes a
waitlist, account onboarding, character creation, a 20-question profile, and a walkable downtown Singapore
preview. It does not currently create blind-date tables, run the full 120-minute date, schedule second dates,
or send match emails.
The service is provided as a beta for testing and feedback. Features may change, pause or disappear. Nothing
in these terms promises that you will be matched, receive a table invite, or meet anyone.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old to join the waitlist or use the preview.
You must be legally able to agree to these terms in Singapore.
You must provide accurate information and not impersonate anyone else.
You may not use the service if we have previously removed you for breaking these terms.
The age verification in this build is a mock and is not a real Singpass check.
3. Accounts and security
You can sign in with a supported Google account or a Singapore mobile number. In this build, the mobile OTP
is mocked, so do not use a number that is not yours. You are responsible for activity on your account and for
keeping access to your email, phone and device secure.
Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. We may suspend or remove an account
that is compromised, abusive, or used in breach of these terms.
4. Beta preview and waitlist
The downtown preview is available to people who join the waitlist. Your character, deal-breakers, answers,
preferences and progress are saved to your account so you can return to them. You can edit them from your
profile.
The preview is a stylised 2 km blockout of downtown Singapore, not a surveyed map. It uses OpenStreetMap and
HDB data with the notices shown in the app. The people you meet there are authored characters, not real
users. Chats, sparks and contact details in the preview are simulated.
Waitlist position and referral boosts are a beta mechanic. They do not create a right to a seat, a particular
table, or a particular date.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against or harm anyone;
impersonate a person, create fake accounts, or misrepresent your age or identity;
send spam, scams, malware, or content that is illegal or infringes someone else’s rights;
scrape, probe, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the service or its security;
use the service to collect or share another person’s private information without consent; or
use the preview to break any law, including Singapore’s computer-misuse, privacy and harassment laws.
We may remove content, restrict access or report conduct to the relevant authorities where we believe it is
necessary to protect people or the service.
6. Content and AI characters
You keep ownership of the character details, answers and messages you create. You give us permission to
store, process and display them as needed to run the service and your account.
The preview includes AI-driven or authored characters, voices and conversations. They can be inaccurate,
repetitive or surprising. Do not rely on anything they say as advice or as a statement from a real person.
AI characters are not a substitute for real-world safety checks.
If you later meet someone in real life, meet in a public place, tell a friend, and make your own safety
arrangements. Blind Table does not run background checks.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the beta, including the preview, waitlist, matching rules,
table format and scheduled times. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
The service is currently free. If we introduce paid features later, we will show the price and terms before
you pay. These terms do not create any obligation to keep the service free.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The beta is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we do not promise that
it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will produce a match or a particular outcome.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Blind Table is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or
consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunities arising from your use of the
beta. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.
You are responsible for your own decisions about meeting, sharing information with, or continuing to talk to
anyone you meet through the service.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over
disputes arising from these terms or the service, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is
not a waiver of it.
